Born in the 1950s, this brandy is known worldwide. The Williams pear ripens between the end of August and early September. It has a yellow skin and its flesh is white, fine, melting, very juicy and fragrant. It is a pome fruit distilled after fermentation like stone fruits. The process of extracting aromas is more complex than it appears: it is above all the precision and expertise of the distiller that makes the difference. The choice of the raw material is essential: ripe, healthy, undamaged fruit, which avoids the risk of bad taste.
The resulting brandy is elegant and fragrant, with characteristic aromas of the fruit. It is the most appreciated eau-de-vie with its powerful and smooth bouquet. This brandy skillfully expresses the richness of its terroir and recreates the delicate and nuanced flavors of the fruit.
