Producer of alsace wines since 1970
The family winery produces Alsace Wines for 3 generations. Today Christophe and Benoît Iltis manage the family estate which extends over 14 hectares of vines located in different towns. The winery growths its vines in Saint-Hippolyte, in Bergheim especially the Grands Crus Altenberg from Bergheim and Kanzlerberg, and in Rorschwihr. It allows to offer exceptional Alsace Wines representative of the region’s terroirs.
The history of the family estate
1970
Jacques and Marie-Odile ILTIS, first generation, decide to build the winery with the cellar outside the ramparts of Saint-Hippolyte. They do their first bottling in 1972 with the creation of the Domaine Jacques ILTIS.
2000
Christophe and Benoît ILTIS, the second generation, take over the family estate. Anne handles the company accounting. A Cuvée named “L’Ultime” was made to mark the transition from the first to the second generation.
2019
Clara ILTIS (Benoît’s daughter) was elected Alsace Wine Queen’s Dauphine
2019/2020: a special cuvée “La Dauphine” has been released.
2020
Clara ILTIS joins the family estate. The winery receives the High Environmental Value certification.

The 2nd and 3rd generations
Christophe ILTIS
2nd generation, geology studies in Nancy, he is passionate about the different Alsatian terroirs. He takes care of the vines on a daily basis and welcomes visitors to the tasting cellar to show that the true essence of the winemaker lies in the magical fusion of the grape variety, the terroir’s character and the climate.
Benoît ILTIS
2nd generation, vines and wines studies in Rouffach and wine business in Colmar. He is in charge of manual work as well as all the mechanization in the vines. He produces the wines and welcomes visitors to the tasting cellar to make them taste his creations.
Clara ILTIS
3rd generation, vines and wines studies in Rouffach and wine business in Colmar. In 2019 she was elected Alsace Wines Queen’s Dauphine. Passionate about wine tasting she easily validated 3 levels of professional tasters’ diplomas. She plans to develop the sales, marketing and communication aspects.
